Journals are available either in electronic (=e-journals) or in printed form (=hard copy).
A limited number of journals are available in both forms.

e-Journals

You can search the complete overview of e-journals.
Search tips

  Catalogue UM - subset journals
Your search will be restricted to a special subset of the UM catalogue that refers to journals (both eJournals and hard copy journals).
Note: the catalogue doesn't contain the complete e-journal collection (use
e-Journals for this purpose).
You may find:
- hard copy journals: you will find the descriptive data including the exact location of the journals in the library.
- e-Journals: the URL field will display 'SFX', enabling you to access the journal at the suppliers website.

Select in the second search box the search key ‘Tilte words: Journal’

If you perform a search on journal title: your search results will consist of title data of journal(s). The title data may refer to electronic or hardcopy journals.
NB If the journals that you have found is also available at our Library the link 'Available at UB Maasticht' will be presented at the bottom of the title data of the journal. This link will present the journal data of this journal in the UM Catalogue.

If the journal is not available at UB Maastricht you can apply for a photocopy (to receive by mail or e-mail) of an article by means of Inter Library Loan. If issue and article information is not clickable on top of the title data: you need to fill in all data by yourself on the Ill request form in PiCarta, which is:
the title and author name of the article, the year, volume and issue number of the Journal and the start and end page of the article.
